Healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and understood. That belief is at the heart of everything I do.
I'm Don Moraud, LCSW-C, ACS, CCTP, Founder and Executive Director of Deeper Meaning Counseling, LLC. For more than a decade, I've had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, families, and organizations as they navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and personal growth.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Approved Clinical Supervisor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I combine evidence-based treatment with genuine human connection. My goal isn't simply to help people manage symptoms—it's to help them better understand themselves, heal from what has hurt them, and move forward with confidence and purpose.
My passion for mental health was born from a desire to understand the deeper experiences that shape who we are. Throughout my career, I've worked across hospitals, community mental health, managed care, and private practice, giving me the opportunity to support people from diverse backgrounds during some of life's most challenging moments.
Those experiences continually reinforced one truth: every person's story deserves compassion, dignity, and hope.
That belief ultimately led me to establish Deeper Meaning Counseling—a practice dedicated to providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive care that empowers individuals and communities to heal, grow, and thrive.
